AUGUST UPDATE: WE're back in stock with limited quantities! Order now!
If you're on this page, chances are you've scoured the internet for this summer's hottest grillin' gadget, the Remote BBQ Dual Probe Thermometer, aka the Maverick ET-732 ($60). And like everyone else on the internet, we're out of stock! But not to fret, we're expecting an order to come in next week, and already have an order placed from Maverick's next batch. The only way you're going to get one this summer is if you place your order now, that much I can guarantee you. The last order we placed sold out within two days of us posted they were available. Yeah, they're that good.
Why all the fuss? If you think about it, the hardest part of keeping your smoker running isn't knowing what temperature your meat is at, it's knowing how quickly the temperature in the smoking chamber is dropping. So if you've got a pork shoulder at 140 degrees, it doesn't make a lick of difference - what matters is whether your grill is at 140, or at 225. SO if you ever want that pulled pork on your plate, you better know what is going on under that hood, without having to lift the lid. That just makes things take that much longer!
So what if you absolutely cannot wait? Well, you do have two options which we presently have in stock. The first is last year's model of the Remote Dual Probe Thermometer from the folks at Maverick. The ET-73 has many of the same features and is $10 cheaper to boot ($50). And then there is the Parasia Dual Sensor model 314, which though it does not have the remote, will do the same thing for $30 - you just have to be within earshot. You might have heard about Parasia with the rave reviews their Digital BBQ Tongs (E577BBQ) are getting online; those are also a steal at $30.
So don't let the stock levels at the online retailers keep you from grillin' up something good! And as a bonus, if you purchase any product from the Outdoor Chef store, and email us your review to post online, we'll send you a coupon for 15% Off your next purchase!
